Karolyn Kiburz, Owner

Since 1988, MCS founder, Karolyn Kiburz, has been a meeting planner, receiving her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 1993.

Using her extensive experience with meetings and events of all sizes, she has spearheaded the planning and execution of national conventions for up to 3,000+ attendees.

The largest local event MCS plans is the Scottsdale Culinary Festival - a nationally recognized event attracting more than 50,000 people.

In addition to managing the Scottsdale League for the Arts and the American Veterinary Exhibitors Association, Karolyn has been involved in associations and association management since 1986.

Karolyn graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Recreation/Tourism. She is past President of the Arizona Sunbelt Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (1998-99) and was awarded "Planner of the Year" from the Arizona Sunbelt Chapter of MPI in 1996. Karolyn is also a member of the Fiesta Bowl Committee and an Honorary Commander at Luke Air Force Base.

   

Connie Gutierrez, Account Executive

Connie is also a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
. She has an extensive background in tradeshow management and accounting.

Connie has planned numerous meetings and events for associations and non-profits. Her prior experience includes the OASIS Gift Show which attracts national and international attendees. This large annual tradeshow has more than 600 exhibitors and 10,000 attendees.

Connie is a member of MPI and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Recreation/Tourism.

Regina Mohr, Account Executive

Regina’s background includes meeting and event coordination with extensive experience in marketing and managing multi-million dollar budgets for Fortune 500 companies, non-profits and associations.

At MCS, Regina specializes in meeting/event planning, marketing and budget/financial analysis.

She has a Masters degree in Tourism and Administration with a concentration in Event Management, from The George Washington University. She is also a graduate of Providence College with a degree in Economics.

 

Mara Maselli, Account Executive, Concierge Services

Mara's background includes serving as a concierge at one of Arizona's busiest premier resorts. She is also an experienced meeting and event planner.

Mara manages our Concierge Services Division which provides customized concierge programs to our corporate clients.

This includes overseeing the communication center, establishing, monitoring and maintaining our corporate quality assurance programs, launching new account corporate programs and training on-site concierge staff.

A graduate of Arizona State University, Mara holds a degree in Recreation/Tourism
